The Treasure Coast is a term for a region in the U.S. state of Florida stretching from Sebastian, Florida in the north through Stuart in the south, which includes the coastal areas of Indian River County, St. Lucie County, and Martin County. The landlocked Okeechobee County is sometimes also considered a part of the Treasure Coast. The principle cities of Treasure Coast include Port St. Lucie, Sebastian, Fort Pierce, Vero Beach, Stuart, Hobe Sound and the landlocked city of Okeechobee. Most beach communities of Treasure Coast are easily accessible by Interstate I-95 and US Hwy 1, and the Fort Pierce area from the west via the Florida Turnpike.
